Works exactly like a regular 3ds, but has extra featuressuchas removed region lock which makes it better than when it was not modded. Very easy to load games for free with hshop which is loaded if you also want it.
This New 3DS XL has been modified with Luma3ds and has had a CRT transfer done on it, which allows it to play games from different regions while still functioning as a regular 3DS. Please note that you may experience an error message when trying to open the eShop due to this modification. This does nothing as long as you did not plan to load games that you had purchased from the eShop before.
